He just dropped his third album, aptly titled III, so we talked about unconventional career path, his love of ’80s industrial, and why his wife sounded “super cheesy” when she first did the vocals for the hit that made him a star, “Beautiful Life.”

Nigerian singer Asa sits down with MTV Iggy

MTV Iggy called me to shoot singer songwriter Asa. The shy Lagos native discussed her quest to find the perfect pair of glasses, how her music comes to be, and which language sends her prayers the fastest to heaven. Any guesses? It’s between English, French, and Yoruba. I'll post the performance video when it drops.
